Very well produced.

When I saw that this was in the judgement phase, I suddenly remembered that the awards were due today, and was absolutely exhilarated. Despite the fact that I wanted to know the winners, I didn't really expect much. After opening the file, I was positively surprised. Whilst I was just expecting an interactive movie, seeing Tom walking on to a stage was what finally made me realize that this was much more than a simple interactive menu. The cropping was very well done, and I know how tedious cropping images out can be, it must be insanely frustrating to do it for a full-length video. I liked the background, and the arch in the background actually made me think about the Stargate series, although I'm unsure if the likeness was intended or not.

As a whole, I think that the choices were accurate, and although I didn't agree with any of the ones for animations, both of those were close seconds to my favourites, as they're both brilliant Flashes. I haven't heard much of the winner of the best audio artist award, though if it was him of whom produced the background music for that section, then he certainly is talented. I'm pretty glad that ReNaeNae won the best user award, and I'm sure that a lot of users will as well.

Well, that's all. 5/5, 10/10.

Quite Strange

A very nice animation; the style was quite different to most animations that I have seen before, which worked pretty well with the concept of the animation. You picked the audio track very well; so that was a good idea on your behalf.

The only things that could improve it was to make what was happening slightly more clear; as I didn't quite understand it.

Very nice, 3/5 and 8/10.

Insanimation responds:

Yeah, sorry..I'll try to make it more understandable in the future...

Very Strange

I really enjoyed the surreal animation, although I do dislike the background song, to be honest. You picked the colours well, and there was some great contrast. Well done with smoothing out the characters, too. The characters were very simple but still quite effective. Very nice, 8/10 and 3/5.

Very nice.

-CarbonWater's Animation-

Very well animated, humorous and smooth. The sound was well synchronized and it was extremely funny. The repetition of the 'No, jazz is like...' and then constant changes was well written and very nice. Overall I'd say 4.5/5.

-BillDing's Animation-

To be honest, not original at all. The animation was all right, but extremely simple, and a very unoriginal style. It's seriously annoying to see the amount of video game parodies in this recycled style. 2/5.

Beautiful.

I opened this without expecting anything at all, but after watching it for just a few seconds I was truly amazed. You have added some high quality artwork together with smooth, sleek animation and suiting sounds, and it really payed off. The character design was very well done, and the main character was very cute and it seems that it may become a well-cherished character in the future. Something that I really loved about it was the waterfall, and how realistic you made it seem.

This truly deserves this nine out of ten; and the four out of five I gave it too.

Thank you.

To be honest; very bad.

Firstly, all of the animation is obviously just a normal video imported into Flash, as you can see by how visible the individual pixels were and that there is some space at the sides with no content at all.

The actual animation is very low quality and is little more than a badly drawn face with the voice of a nine year old speaking with no body movement at all. The lip-sync was very low quality, too, and didn't really resemble what was really being said. The things that were actually being said weren't really funny at all, so I'd recommend working on the humour side of it, too.

Sps399 responds:

Sorry 'bout the quality...I saved it as an .avi file and loaded it all onto Windows Movie Maker to edit and I converted it to .swf but it is flash....and im not nine

A nice list.

Content:9/10:
Contains a lot of me, so I like it. Plus most of the paragraphs were meaningful. The level icon and userpage picture were nice ideas too.

Layout:10/10:
Despite what you said, I really liked the layout, and I needed something to drag the overall score up to ten (<3).

Originality:10/10:
An original concept for a flash, I've never seen a blog post turned into a flash
before, and I might never see it again.

Execution:10/10:
Well executed, there's something in this flash that makes me enjoy it more than most flashes.

Overall:10/10:
Overall, I enjoyed this flash, and passed it.

TL;DR:
I like!

5/5

Hooray for mwmike, the loveable scamp.

Just amazing

Animation:10/10: Great, smooth animation. Realistic physics of movement and worth those four years that were spent on this fantastic flash.

Sound:10/10:
Amazingly well picked sound. The FX was perfect, and the background track suited the animation well, as well as giving it a great atmosphere and mood.

Art:10/10:
High detailed, realistic art. The way the buildings were created was quite spectacular, and the character design was very nice.

Story:10/10:
The story of this flash enticed me to keep watching until the end, though the flash was far shorter than I expected it to be.

Presentation:9/10:
Overall great presentation, clean and not overdone.

Style:9/10:
I think your style is very nice and adds to the overall quality of the flash greatly, as I said above, the character design was great, and very nice overall.

Execution:10/10:
Each individual aspect of this flash is great and when all put together form something amazing. This was executed well and I was impressed.

Overall:10/10:
Just amazing, that's all that can describe this flash, the detailed art, the storyline, and every aspect, added up brilliantly to create this masterpiece.

TL;DR:
Truly amazing detail, combined with a strong storyline makes this flash stand out from the average NG flash.

A truly amazing flash.

I'm sorry I couldn't have gotten to reviewing this earlier, I first saw it while under judgement and I'm unsure about why I didn't review then. This flash has great replay value, and just today I have watched over it several times, as well as many other days that I have seen it more times. I will go more in-depth below.

Animation:10/10: The visuals of this flash are just amazing, great, smooth animation that enticed me to keep watching, the physics of the animation are superb too, especially near the end, in the falling scene. The animation of this helps make it the masterpiece it is.

Sound:9/10:
The song chosen for this fits the mood of the animation and helps create the atmosphere that works so well for this flash.

Art:10/10:
High detailed, textured art. The way the buildings were created was quite spectacular.

Story:10/10:
I was impressed by the story of this flash, though actually quite confused at the end. The story carried emotion well and impressed me a lot. It seems like it could represent a real-life issue that many people support and many people are against it. I am captivated by the story of this flash, and now I'm waiting for another instalment, though as an animator and scripter I know that making low quality flash can take a lot of time, and high quality flash like this takes so much longer, even if a lot of work is put into it.

Humour:Not rated:
No humour, this is good, as humour would've taken away from the mood of the submission.

Presentation:9/10:
Overall great presentation, clean and not overdone.

Preloader:10/10:
The preloader, too, was very nice. The way in which the animation carried on from the preloader screen is a nice idea.

Style:9/10:
I think your style is very nice and adds to the overall quality of the flash greatly.

Violence:10/10:
I wouldn't expect violence to have worked well in a part of this series, but it actually was created well, and made the situation seem more serious than it would do if not.

V-Camming:10/10:
Amazing use of Vcam, as simple as that.

Execution:10/10:
Each individual aspect of this flash is great and when all put together form something amazing. This was executed well and I was impressed.

Overall:10/10:
Just amazing, that's all that can describe this flash.

TL;DR:
I was wowed by this flash.

Informative and humourous

Animation:6/10: The animation isn't too impressive, but the fact that there was animation in a guide gave it an original feel. It also seemed like you made the animation in another program and imported it all into flash. I would normally give just a two for this, but the fact that it's part of a guide and that you had the obstacle of outside importing, I've added a bit to my score.

Sound:8/10:
Not anything special. Quite humorous, plus remembered that cock jokes DO make your flash just that bit more humorous.

Art:7/10:
Not much to it really.

Humour:9/10:
As I said above, the cockjokes are plentiful, for that you get a high mark.

Presentation:7/10:
Decent presentation.

Preloader:0/10:
No preloader. Preloaders are actually very important.

Style:8/10:
Good style. Not amazing, but good.

Violence:Not rated:
Not much of it. I won't take or add anything to the overall score.

V-Camming:Not rated:
No vCam.

Execution:9/10:
The actual flash, when thought about in small chunks, wasn't too impressive, but all these chunks come together and fit together well. I've seen better but this is quite nicely executed.

Overall:9/10:
The fact that animation was used in a guide breaths life into the submission. If I was still unsure about newgrounds then this would be very helpful and teach a lot. Thank you for reading this.

TL;DR:
Very nicely created, the animation wasn't impressive, but the fact it was there breathed originality into the flash.
